Today I had the chance to meet Ash Maurya. The Dutch Lean Startup Circle and Utrecht had invited him to give a workshop for Dutch startups.
Ash is the author of Running Lean. The way the book came about is itself a great example of applying his motto: Get out and learn!
Practice what you preach
He only started writing the book after gauging interest through his blog. He only picked up the pen once a minimum number of interested people had signed up.
It was also nice to practice using Alex Osterwalder’s business model canvas in the workshop. By using this canvas, you can map out your entire business model in a very short time.
